Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join our team at Global Accounting Network. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing the accounting functions of our largest entity.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile and manage balance sheets to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Partner with business stakeholders to analyze P&L variances and provide insightful commentary
  • Oversee intercompany reconciliations and ensure timely completion
  • Collaborate with external auditors to prepare statutory accounts and annual audit
  • Support budgeting process and financial planning
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Mentor and manage a team of 3 part-qualified accountants
  • Provide exceptional client service, including handling client queries and withdrawals/deposits
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in Financial Services
  • Proven track record in managing accounting teams and mentoring juniors
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to reconcile complex financial statements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
