Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at St Mary's Catholic High School. The successful candidate will work closely with our SENCo and Senior Learning & Development Mentor to support pupils in accessing the curriculum and extending their learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pupils in implementing agreed work programmes individually or in groups, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Work under the guidance of the SENCo and Senior Learning & Development Mentor to support the learning needs of students.
  • Use ICT resources to support teaching and learning.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience of working within a school setting.
  • Ability to use ICT resources to support teaching and learning.
  • Understanding, awareness, and empathy for the needs of pupils at this school.
