We offer a competitive salary, which includes an estimated annual income of £40,000 - £60,000 depending on qualifications and experience. This salary reflects the teacher's responsibilities in delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

About the Role

As a Year 3 Teacher at Wayman Learning Trust, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students;
  • Implementing effective teaching strategies to engage and inspire students;
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices;
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behavior and positive relationships;
  • Communicating effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns;
  • Participating in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field;
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent;
  • Proven experience teaching Year 3 students in a primary school setting;
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners;
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
