Job Title: Retail Team Lead

Join Henderson Group as a Retail Team Lead and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

As a Retail Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of store staff to provide a shopping experience that exceeds customer expectations. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager and Store Manager to achieve store goals and objectives, and will be responsible for training and developing your team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the store team to follow store policies, standards, and practices
  • Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders, including keyholder responsibility
  • Be a positive role model to the team and represent the company's values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork, and Integrity
  • Train, manage the workload, and support your team, while being hands-on in store
  • Ensure the right resources are in the right place at the right time to deliver the best customer experience
  • Support the Store Manager to maximize store performance, including understanding and implementing the store plan and priorities
  • Actively promote and get involved in initiatives to support the local community
Requirements
  • Previous store retail experience, with at least 6 months at a supervisory level leading a team of people in a customer-focused environment
  • A natural ability to listen, interact, and communicate with customers and team members
  • Target-driven to help the store achieve its business plans and priorities
  • Focused on continuous improvement and inspiring others to do their best
