PHP Software Engineer Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a skilled PHP Software Engineer to join our team at Intec Select Ltd. As a leading digital marketing and technology agency, we specialise in online gaming and are looking for a talented developer who possesses strong technical skills in PHP, JavaScript, and AWS.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-transactional environment and will be responsible for creating effective solutions from product requirements, producing well-structured code, and applying best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create software designs from product requirements
- Produce well-structured code
- Apply best practices
- Make sure solutions are performant and observable
- Balance technical solutions with commercial constraints

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Commercial use of modern PHP 8+ with experience in development frameworks such as Laravel / Symfony
- Proficiency in developing in JavaScript/TypeScript with NodeJS frameworks like NestJS and frontend frameworks like React.JS
- Experience in building platforms using event-based architecture and CQRS
- Experience of working with AWS Services such as Aurora, MSK Kafka, ECS, EMR
- Excellent practical understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
- Hands-on experience with one or more DevOps tooling platforms
- Experience engineering high availability, high throughput OLTP platforms
