Linux Kernel Engineer

You will work alongside talented developers on various projects, including WebKit improvements and Linux kernel driver development. This is an opportunity to make significant contributions to the open-source community.

Requirements:

  1. Demonstrable knowledge of systems-level software development, such as kernel drivers, web rendering engines, display servers, or A/V libraries.
  2. Significant contributions to open-source projects, with engagement in the community and understanding of open-source development methodologies.
  3. High level of skill in C and/or C++ programming languages.
  4. A Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.

This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as comfort with remote working. Our team is globally diverse, and we offer a competitive salary, flexible working hours, private medical insurance, and dedicated time for community projects.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £85,000 - £110,000, depending on experience. If you're interested in part-time work (3-4 days/week), we'll consider that option as well. Please note that you must be located in the UK and have full rights to work there without time limits.
