About the Role
The Credit Control Manager is a key position within the Alliance Automotive Group, responsible for overseeing a team of credit controllers and ensuring the effective management of customer payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Contacting business customers when payment is overdue and negotiating repayment plans if necessary
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer files, including processing payments and starting legal proceedings if debts are not paid within an agreed time
- Liaising with internal businesses and producing collection letters as required
- Assisting in the notification of new business acquisition customers of changes in ownership
- Performing bank reconciliations and producing customer statements
Requirements
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Organized and methodical approach, with a focus on meeting strict deadlines
- Good mathematical skills and administrative abilities, with proficiency in computer systems
- Ability to explain financial matters clearly and firmly, with a tactful and assertive manner
