Gloucester, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom Home Instead Full time
Working for Home Instead
Are you looking for a fulfilling career that allows you to make a real difference in people's lives? At Home Instead, we believe that everyone deserves to live with dignity and independence, and we are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to our clients.

Our Approach
We take a person-centered approach to care, focusing on the unique needs and preferences of each individual. Our team of experienced professionals works closely with clients and their families to create personalized care plans that promote independence, confidence, and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering these care plans and making a positive impact on people's lives.

Your Role
As a Care Assistant, your primary role will be to provide companionship and wellbeing support to our clients. This may include accompanying them on outings, assisting with everyday tasks, and helping them maintain their independence. You will also be responsible for supporting clients with meal preparation, light housework, and administering medication as needed. In addition, you will maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care and support.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. While experience is valued, it is not necessary, as we offer comprehensive training and support to help you develop your skills and competencies. A means of transport is essential, as clients are cared for in their own homes or accompanied on appointments and outings.

What We Offer
In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a minimum 1-hour visit duration, client and carer matching for continuity, part-time and full-time hours available, and comprehensive training and development opportunities. We also offer a pension scheme, employee referral bonus program, mileage reimbursement, and exclusive discounts on shopping and utilities.
