Podcast Producer

We are seeking a skilled Podcast Producer to join our team at Flight Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality podcast episodes from planning and recording to editing and publishing. Your expertise in video production, including camera operation, sound recording, and editing software, will be essential in creating engaging content for our audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production: Oversee the end-to-end production of podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality video and audio output.
  • Technical Expertise: Deliver all technical aspects of podcast production, including camera operation, sound recording, and lighting.
  • Data & Performance Analysis: Lead the analysis of podcast performance data to understand audience behavior and algorithm impact.
  • Cross Team Collaboration: Work with hosts, guests, and other teams to create compelling podcast content strategies.
  • Operational & Budget Management: Lead the scheduling and coordination of recordings and post-production efforts.
  • Innovation: Stay engaged with industry trends and emerging platforms to present and distribute podcast content.
  • Creative Direction: Provide support in data-driven creative direction for episodes, trailers, and clips.
  • Innovative Production Processes: Obsess over optimisations and implementations to refine and redefine production processes.

Requirements
  • Experience in video or social first production and editing, with an exceptional portfolio in successful content creation.
  • Experience using the tools and technologies required in this role, with a willingness to continuously learn new techniques.
  • Ability to work with high-profile talent, aligning creative vision with company goals and data-based execution.
  • Resilient, motivated, and empathetic team skills, with proven experience in working in fast-paced production environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to convey complex data-driven ideas at all levels.
  • Flexibility to adapt to and experiment with the evolving landscape of media production.
  • Ability to navigate deadlines across multiple competing projects and deliver exceptional results.
