Role Overview

Birmingham Hospice is seeking an experienced Charity Fundraising Manager to lead our individual giving strategy and drive significant income growth through various fundraising streams.

About the Role
  • Manage the Donor Acquisition Fundraiser and In-Memory Fundraiser teams to maximise opportunities and achieve organisational growth.
  • Develop and implement innovative and creative appeals to attract new donors and increase retention rates.
  • Lead a dedicated team in delivering gold standard supporter journeys, regular giving campaigns, in memoriam giving, lottery, and legacies.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruit new donors and retain existing ones through effective supporter engagement strategies.
  2. Deliver income growth targets for individual giving streams, including regular giving, legacies, and in memoriam donations.
  3. Collaborate with fundraisers to support their targets and objectives, and develop creative appeals to drive income growth.
  4. Work closely with the fundraising department to meet overall fundraising objectives, driving innovation and collaboration within the team.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Focused and driven individual with a passion for fundraising and hospice care.
  • Proven experience in leading fundraising teams and developing successful appeals.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is up to £41,000 per annum, depending on experience. Birmingham Hospice offers a range of benefits, including a comprehensive pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
