With offices throughout the state, BCI stands ready to respond 24/7 to local law enforcement agencies' needs at no cost to the requesting agency.

About the Job: We are currently seeking a public-minded individual for a Forensic Scientist vacancy in the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Section within the Databasing unit of the London Laboratory. This position will report to the lab with some work from home available.

Duties: Conduct genetic tests (to include mitochondrial DNA analysis) on items of evidence from unidentified human remains and reference standards. Analyze and interpret results using lab manuals. Perform statistical analyses. Assist with the CODIS database. Testify in court concerning evidence examined and analyses performed.

Salary & Benefits: Estimated salary $30.15 per hour. Free dental, vision, and basic life insurance premiums after completion of eligibility period.
