Automotive Workshop Supervisor

As the Automotive Workshop Supervisor at SUEZ, you will be responsible for leading a team of HGV technicians in maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Allocating jobs to the team of technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conducting regular vehicle quality checks and spot checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborating with the transport department to ensure vehicle availability and prioritize work to meet business demands.
- Managing costs and ensuring cost control on parts and external maintenance.
- Carrying out equipment checks in line with company policy and managing health and safety, near miss reporting.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Excellent communication skills to act as a bridge between the workshop and office teams.
- A calm and methodical approach to work, with the ability to work under pressure.
- A natural problem-solving ability and great computer skills.
- A Class one licence is advantageous, but not essential.
