About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Vocational Teacher to join our team at Woodside Group. As a Vocational Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering Schemes of Work that cater to the needs of our students with Autism Spectrum Conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver Schemes of Work that are creative, yet target-based
  • Build trusting relationships with students and work with them at all levels of emotional difficulty
  • Deliver small group sessions at a base specifically crafted for a small group of students
  • Support pupils in processing new information and building upon a solid understanding of the student's manifestation of autism
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience working with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions
  • Ability to work closely with vulnerable young people and report pertinent information to Designated Safeguarding Leaders
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) check
  • Verification of all listed qualifications
