About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our Cranes and Lifting department on a permanent basis. This role will involve operating ad-hoc trips offshore from Aberdeen, with a retainer salary and company benefits. Main duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Implementing company and project policies, working practices, and procedures to ensure rigging and erection work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Completing work scope in accordance with applicable work pack and job card instructions, associated procedures, and drawings.
  • Developing and understanding lifting plans.
  • Providing support to other trades and disciplines as required.
  • Raising permits to work and undertaking risk assessments to complete work scope safely.

About You:

To be successful in this position, you will have previous experience in a Rigging role and experience with inspection, service, repair, and test of all rigging and lifting equipment. You will hold an OPITO Level 3 Rigging Assessment, a Banksman/Slinger certificate, BOSIET/FOET, and an approved offshore medical. A Level 3 Diploma in Moving Engineering Construction Loads is preferred but not essential.
