Caulker Job Opportunity

Morson Talent is seeking a skilled Caulker for our client in Barrow. The initial 12-month contract has a strong likelihood of extension. To be successful, candidates must be time served and possess trade papers. Previous experience with shipbuilding/marine/heavy industry is desirable. Key skills include using Steelwork drawings, MMA Tack Welding & Basic Thermal Cutting, Abrasive wheels, Pumps & Fairing Aids, and SHE Processes and Policies. Shifts can vary, with predominant patterns of 3 on 4 off and nights. Rates for Locals and Non-locals are as follows: £23.28 PAYE, £31.28 PAYE (Umbrella rates available). Successful candidates will undergo Security clearance and pass a trade test before starting on site.

Key Requirements:
• Time served and trade papers
• Previous experience with shipbuilding/marine/heavy industry

• Ability to use Steelwork drawings, MMA Tack Welding & Basic Thermal Cutting, Abrasive wheels, Pumps & Fairing Aids

Compensation:

Security Clearance:
Successful candidates will undergo Security clearance and pass a trade test before starting on site.
