About the Role
We are currently recruiting a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK & I. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our clients and customers.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
- Oversee and implement menu changes.
- Identify opportunities to improve our food services.
- Listen and act on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services.
- Support with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
- Represent Defence and maintain a positive brand image.
- Monitor inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked.
- Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.
- Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
About You
- You will have a passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
- You will hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
- You will have experience supervising a team.
- You will have experience in a similar Chef role.
- You will hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
- You will have a flexible approach to working.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including a contributory pension scheme, life assurance, and access to training and development opportunities.
