Job Title: Senior Actuarial Analyst

The Emerald Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Biometric Research Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of our central bases and assumptions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of relevant data, including non-traditional data attributes and experience analyses of the in-force portfolio.
  • Research factors affecting biometric and behavioural risks undertaken by HRUK.
  • Quantify the impact of emerging risks on our central bases and develop solutions to mitigate these risks.
  • Support the implementation of our Branch Data Strategy, improving access to and use of data, efficient data management, and identifying improvements to data analytics techniques.
Requirements:
  • Nearly or newly qualified Actuary or statistician with 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Reinsurance industry experience.
  • Experience of actuarial and data analysis techniques to analyse biometric data.
  • Experience in setting demographic assumptions.
