The Role: Health and Safety Advisor
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our workforce across multiple construction and building services projects.
Responsibilities:
- Attend client health and safety meetings to provide expert guidance and support.
- Collaborate closely with site teams to implement and maintain effective health and safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough workplace inspections, identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions.
- Review and evaluate safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports documenting findings, recommendations, and progress made.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Advisor within the construction or building services sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Proficiency in IT applications, including report writing and data analysis tools.
Desirable Qualifications:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- CSCS Professional card.
- First Aid training.
