**Join us at Vertical Advantage as we look for a Buyer Development Role in our procurement team**

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to assist with maintaining and managing trackers to generate accurate key performance indicators for the procurement team. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to work on contracts and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.

As a Supply Chain Acquisition Position candidate, you will represent the procurement department in project meetings, providing updates on price, lead time, and associated costs for launches. You will also be responsible for identifying and communicating potential risks to deliveries, assisting in resolution efforts.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • An academic background or relevant procurement experience.
  • An understanding of end-to-end supply chain and supplier relationship management processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of procurement techniques and their application in projects.

A competitive salary of £42,500 is offered for this exciting position, considering the role's responsibilities and the location in Kent.
