About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Learning Designer to join our team at the Financial Ombudsman Service. As a Digital Learning Designer, you will play a key role in creating engaging and effective digital learning solutions for our internal audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and evaluate digital learning solutions that meet the needs of our learners.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and colleagues to conduct training needs analysis, define learning objectives, and evaluate learning outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Learning Partners to create engaging content that supports the learning aim and outcomes.
  • Manage multiple digital learning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and budget compliance.
  • Manage external partnerships, including working with external suppliers to build access to best-in-class L&D products and services.
  • Support the procuring and tendering process for all digitally related contracts and systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in digital learning and technology, and continuously explore new ways to enhance the learning experience.
  • Manage the learning and journeys module within Workday to ensure a suitable customer experience during use.
  • Generate, interpret, and present digital learning analytics to stakeholders, informing and recommending areas of improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience of digital design and development.
  • Good understanding of UX/UI design, including authoring tools and their capabilities.
  • Previous digital learning content using storyboards and various digital tools.
  • Working to deadlines, with awareness of Agile or Scrum methodologies.

  • Being solutions-oriented, persistent, and determined.
  • Working in an efficient and resilient manner, and taking personal accountability for high standards of delivery.
