Hourly Rate: £18.50 gross per hour
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and confident Waking Night Carer to support a young boy with Dravet Syndrome. The successful candidate will work Thursday and Friday nights, from 7:30pm to 7:30am, providing constant supervision and care to ensure the child's safety and well-being.
Responsibilities- Monitor the child's vital signs and respond to any medical emergencies
- Administer medication as prescribed by the child's doctor
- Provide a simple breakfast and assist with morning medications
- Help the child get dressed for school
- Unload the dishwasher and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Experience working with children with epilepsy and seizure management
- Up-to-date first aid training, including CPR
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
