Job Title: Waking Night Carer

Job Type: Part-time

Location: London W12

Hourly Rate: £18.50 gross per hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and confident Waking Night Carer to support a young boy with Dravet Syndrome. The successful candidate will work Thursday and Friday nights, from 7:30pm to 7:30am, providing constant supervision and care to ensure the child's safety and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the child's vital signs and respond to any medical emergencies
  • Administer medication as prescribed by the child's doctor
  • Provide a simple breakfast and assist with morning medications
  • Help the child get dressed for school
  • Unload the dishwasher and maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with epilepsy and seizure management
  • Up-to-date first aid training, including CPR
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
