Job Overview
As a Process Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Yorkshire Water's Health and Safety policies while undertaking basic grounds maintenance, site tasks, site maintenance, and general housekeeping duties. Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from £24,675 to £31,329 per annum, dependant on experience. You will also receive annual bonus, company vehicle, attractive pension scheme (Up to 10% company contribution), life assurance cover of 4 times pensionable salary, and 25 days annual leave plus additional days in lieu of working bank holidays, plus a wellness day, standby payment, and associated overtime payment when called out. You will also have access to a retail savings scheme, online GP service, cycle to work scheme, gym membership discounts, and many more.

Job Responsibilities
Your duties will include tasks such as reacting to RTS alarms and pollution incidents, gathering evidence at suspected pollution incidents, lifting, checking, and unblocking pumps, taking samples, examining the results, and trouble-shooting any issues impacting sample results. You will also be required to raise follow-on work for internal support services. You will work alone and as part of a team in all weathers, so you should be a resilient self-starter with good time management and the ability to efficiently manage your own workload.

Requirements
It is essential that you have a practical mindset, enjoy working outdoors in all weathers, and be comfortable taking a hands-on approach to work tasks. You should be prepared to question unsafe working practices and be comfortable in reporting these to management. You should also be a good problem-solver, decision maker, communicator, and one who displays exemplary attitudes and behaviours. Previous experience of using IT systems such as word is essential as you will be capturing necessary site information on a 'Toughbook'. You will be required to travel to various operational sites as part of your daily activities, therefore a full valid driving licence is a requirement of this role (with no more than 6 points on your licence).
