About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. in Rochester, GBR.

Job Description

In this role, you will maintain and repair a wide range of equipment and workspaces, ensuring the safe operation of our facilities and minimal downtime for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on site equipment
  • Responding promptly to breakdowns and investigating solutions
  • Liaising with contractors for external expertise when necessary
  • Working on continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full Engineering indentured apprenticeship or qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, preferably in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing
