Interior Design Estimator Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Estimator to join our team at The Job Guru. As an Interior Design Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating costs and preparing quotations for custom and bespoke interior design projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Liaise with sales to understand project scope and requirements
* Build strong relationships with suppliers to obtain quotations and source new suppliers
* Identify and quantify cost factors, including production time, raw materials, equipment, and labor expenses
* Conduct supplier research and visits to gather information on materials and outsourcing
* Read technical documents to prepare estimates
* Collaborate with production management, technicians, designers, company directors, and sales team to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

* 3-5 years' experience in interior design, costing, and budgeting
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost control
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
