Job Title: Laboratory Test Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Test Technician with electrical/electronic background to join our team in Hawarden.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a wide range of test procedures on sample equipment to applicable standards and interpret results.
  • Assume total responsibility for completing assigned projects within negotiated time and cost schedules.
  • Assemble and disassemble test samples, hook up laboratory test equipment in preparation for testing.
  • Record technical data and draft reports, informing certifiers and clients with detailed test results.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain and develop lab equipment.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) or at least 5 years experience in an industrial environment with electrical/electronic testing.
  • Practical knowledge of working with test and measurement instruments and equipment, such as oscilloscope, power supplies, multi-meters, power analyzers, and chart recorders.
  • Experience in circuit analysis and IEC/EN or battery performance testing is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, systematically, and unsupervised in a team-based work environment.
  • Flexibility and good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively.
  • Computer proficiency (Word processing, Microsoft Word, Excel).
