We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to a prominent Professor in a University Research Department in Oxford. This role will also involve supporting academic colleagues with administrative tasks.

This is a fixed term contract, lasting from January 2025 to November 30th 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Academic research coordination
  • Project management and administration
  • Inbox management and diary organization
  • Travel arrangement and Visa applications
  • Event planning and coordination
  • Financial administration, including expense tracking and invoice processing
  • Systems administration and operational support
  • Communication drafting and editing

About the Role

This is a busy and varied role that requires someone who is proactive, forward-thinking, and has excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a senior-level PA in a fast-paced environment and possess strong IT and systems knowledge.

You will be reporting to the Department Office Manager and will have a dotted line to the Professor. This position involves working closely with members of the Professor's research team and supporting faculty members with administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to manage a busy workload, and work collaboratively with colleagues across the university.
