Investigator - PIP1

We are seeking a skilled Investigator to join our team at Red Snapper Recruitment Limited. As an Investigator, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the investigation of serious and complex crime under the supervision of a PIP 2 investigator.
Main Responsibilities:- Assist with the investigation of serious and complex crime, ensuring support is in place for victims during the investigation.
- Identify, gather, retain, and effectively utilise relevant material, including information and intelligence in support of investigations.
- Interview victims, witnesses, and suspects in accordance with PACE, ABE, Victim Code, F.P.P., and other relevant legislation.
- Prepare reports on the outcome of investigations, build and manage case files, and conduct disclosure within best practice procedures.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and partner agencies.
- Successful completion of Professionalising Investigation Programme (PIP) level 1 accreditation or similar experience.
- Demonstrable experience of complex information gathering and analysis.
