IT Systems Analyst Job Description

We are seeking an IT Systems Analyst to join our dynamic Systems Team at Advanced Utility Networks. As an IT Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support services to individual users through our service desk, whether they're in the office, on-site, or working remotely.
  • Assist in the maintenance and development of the Group's systems infrastructure.
  • Handle hardware/software issues, including break/fix scenarios.
  • Monitor the service desk call queue, logging, and triaging to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Support the maintenance of automated deployment systems and keep accurate records within the service desk system.
  • Generate ideas to improve business productivity and reduce costs.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and generate simple reports and guides as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be proactive, flexible, and possess a can-do attitude.
  • Should be able to communicate complex issues in a practical and straightforward manner to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Should be able to work independently and manage tight deadlines effectively.
  • Should be able to collaborate well with team members and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Should be able to engage and communicate effectively with staff at all levels.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft 365 full stack.
  • Experience with software & hardware/peripherals, mobile device support, and software deployment (Intune).
  • Knowledge of SAAS and cloud-based architecture.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • ITIL qualified.
  • Familiarity with Freshservice ITSM, Team Viewer, LAN/WAN/VPN, MDM technologies (Intune, ABM).
