Job Type: Temporary

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV2 Hiab Driver to join our team at Class 1 Personnel. As a HGV2 Hiab Driver, you will be responsible for delivering customers' products to their premises in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements.
  • Undertake daily checks to ensure defects are reported and correct paperwork is complete.
  • Manage routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved.
  • Ensure the correct equipment and PPE is in good order and always used.
  • Deal with customer issues in a polite and effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV2 licence
  • CPC card
  • Tacho Card
  • Valid Hiab ALLMI certificate
  • Full driving licence with HGV2 eligibility
  • Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans
  • Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Must have relevant HIAB certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Good level of physical fitness
  • Reliability and good time keeping skills
  • Previous experience with deliveries

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary position, working Monday to Friday, 06:30 to minimum 8 hours paid at £17.25 per hour.
