Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Allegiance Group is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs and contracts effectively across a range of commercial and high-end residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts to ensure costs are controlled and deadlines met.
  • Provide cost estimates, valuations, and financial reports throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead tender processes, including cost analysis and contract negotiations, to secure the best deals for the company.
  • Oversee subcontractor payments, variations, and final accounts to maintain a smooth project workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts and legal standards to minimize risks and liabilities.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and align costs with project objectives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on commercial and high-end residential projects.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • Chartered status or working towards RICS/CIOB.
  • Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts and UK construction standards.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
  • Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, CATO).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve project issues.
