We are a dynamic construction company based in Widnes, seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Cost Estimation and Management: Estimate costs for construction projects, prepare detailed quantity requirements, and monitor construction budgets to ensure expenses are tracked and managed effectively.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to secure the best pricing for our projects.
- Project Cost Review: Review and update project costs as construction work progresses, ensuring that costs are aligned with project budgets.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in cost estimation software, understanding of project management, and excellent negotiation and communication skills.
