We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join Philippa's Ltd as a Farm Shop and Event Catering Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing the day-to-day operations of our farm shop and event catering business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the farm shop, including stock management, customer service, and sales.
- Coordinate and execute event catering services, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, farmers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality products and services.
- Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute events, including weddings, corporate functions, and other special occasions.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including maintaining a Level 3 food hygiene certificate.
- Manage a team of staff, including training, development, and performance management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail and event catering management, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, including a Level 3 food hygiene certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, suppliers, and customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, based on a rota.
- Full UK driving license.
