About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Senior Leadership Team as an Assistant Head Teacher. This is a key role that requires a talented and inspirational leader who can make a real difference to our school and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and inspire and develop others to achieve excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour and attendance strategies to ensure an inclusive environment where all pupils can thrive.
  • Work closely with the Headteacher and other leaders to drive school improvement and achieve outstanding outcomes for our pupils.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Develop and mentor colleagues to improve their behaviour management and teaching skills.
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS and experience of working in a SEN setting.
  • Passion for supporting young people to learn and develop.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of staff to achieve excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with pupils, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work effectively with governors, corporate colleagues, and other partners to achieve school improvement.
