About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team. As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children who may have experienced trauma. Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support for our young people
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture, promoting a sense of community and belonging among our staff and young people
What We Offer

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or an equivalent recognized qualification
  • Experience working with children who have experienced trauma, preferably in a residential setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues
  • A calm, enthusiastic, and creative approach, with a sense of humor and a willingness to learn and grow
