About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our Marine & Energy team based in London. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will work closely with brokers and other analysts to provide key strategic advisory to a wide variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk analysis and modelling of clients' portfolios, including complex multinational groups.
  • Design and evaluate risk management strategies for Marine & Energy lines.
  • Develop bespoke models and implement new modelling approaches.
  • Value and price reinsurance contracts, structured insurance solutions, and capital market products.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management that clearly communicate risk exposure, profitability, and actuarial forecasts.
About You

We are looking for an individual with at least 2 years of relevant actuarial experience in the insurance markets. Strong analytical skills, ability to apply advanced mathematical / actuarial concepts and techniques to a dynamic environment, and proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, are essential. A University degree in maths or calculus or statistical analysis and progress towards a professional actuarial qualification are also required. Strong interpersonal skills to deal with a wide variety of stakeholders and sound oral and written communication skills are necessary.
