Are you a skilled IT professional looking for a challenging role in a prestigious aerospace and defence organisation? We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Advisor Information Security to join our team in Barrow in Furness.
About the RoleAs a Security Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Information Security / IT service, manipulating data to identify solutions to known problems, and assisting the team with general office management duties.
You will also have awareness of business unit policies and processes and experience of working in a Security environment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out a range of tasks in support of the delivery of the Information Security / IT service.
- Manipulate data and work to identify solutions to known problems.
- Assist the team with general office management duties.
To succeed in this role, you will have experience in a similar position and the following skills:
- Strong I.T skills and the ability to work with information within a security governance framework (NIST).
- Ability to gather and analyse data, pulling together reports and delivering presentations.
- Knowledge of working with networks / systems / software packages related to cyber security controls in use across the business.
- Strong Stakeholder engagement and management in a challenging environment.
