Lifeboat Instructor

We are seeking an experienced Lifeboat Trainer to join our team at the RNLI Support Centre in Poole, Dorset. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our lifeboat crews, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties safely and effectively.

As a Maritime Training Specialist, you will work closely with our experienced trainers to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs that meet the needs of our crews. You will be required to travel to various locations throughout the UK, including coastal towns and villages, to conduct training sessions.

About the Role

• Deliver high-quality training to lifeboat crews on maritime safety procedures and techniques
• Develop and maintain comprehensive training programs that meet the needs of our crews
• Travel to various locations throughout the UK to conduct training sessions
• Work closely with our experienced trainers to ensure seamless delivery of training programs

Requirements

• Proven experience in training and education, preferably in a maritime setting
• Strong understanding of maritime safety procedures and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the UK
