About the Opportunity

Westlakes Recruit is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a background in nuclear or defence to join their team in Bristol, Bridgwater.

The ideal candidate will be adaptable and organised, with experience in the EC&I discipline and a passion for solving complex problems using CAD software.

We focus on providing support to the existing nuclear generation fleet, new build, and future reactor designs, as well as EC&I activities across the business. Our goal is to achieve net zero carbon goals in the UK.

  • We offer a variety of work and clients, with opportunities to interact directly with key clients and their engineers.
  • You will have the chance to develop engineering solutions to meet clients' needs and contribute to the development of our global company.

Our requirements include:

  • A relevant engineering degree, HNC, or Chartership in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Adaptability and ability to transfer existing skills onto new problems.
  • Organisation and ability to work on multiple projects.
  • A passion for solving engineering design problems using CAD software.
  • Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills are also essential.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £65,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
