Job Overview

E3 Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects commercially and contractually, ensuring delivery of terms, cost, and agreed scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and chair review meetings to review costs and valuations.
  • Manage projects commercially and contractually to ensure delivery of terms, cost, and agreed scope.
  • Provide commercial reviews and analysis of bids and tenders, contracts, and subcontractors.
  • Create tender and contract documents including BOQ.
  • Be the lead resolution contact for claims, disputes, changes, and negotiations.
  • Identify project risks and proactively mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the project within cost and within contractual terms.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar in a manufacturing environment.
  • A deep understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
  • Experience in building and construction industries.
  • A proven track record of successful multi-project delivery through managing people.
  • Qualifications relating to Quantity Surveying.
Salary and Benefits:
  • £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
  • 23 Days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, rising to 25 days with service.
  • Life assurance scheme after 12-months service.
  • 4% Employer pension contribution after 3-months.
