Job Description:

PWS Technical Services (UK) Ltd is a specialist consultant based in the UK, known for delivering bespoke service offerings and solutions. The company has developed an enviable reputation for supporting clients to achieve their goals through holistic design support, analysis, reverse engineering, product R&D, and technical project management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative design packages in line with client key drivers, project programs, and budgets. This role involves conducting initial project conceptual work, attending meetings, and offering input into project submissions and presentations. Additionally, you will be responsible for junior engineers of varying levels, allocating work, reviewing and checking their work, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time and to program.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed design accountabilities covering multiple disciplines and industry sectors
• Take concept designs to produce fully detailed design packages and working design documents for multiple projects
• Analyze and produce designs in the form of schematics, calculations, equipment selection, and detailed drawings
• Liaise with external designers, clients, and in-house teams
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, requirements, and in-house processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Qualified at a tertiary level or (HNC / HND) in a relevant discipline or possess a minimum of seven years' experience in a similar role
• Ability to deliver real working solutions balancing functionality, design integrity, manufacturability, serviceability, and costs
• Working knowledge of end-to-end solutions including evolution of concepts through various stages to final delivery
• Proficiency in at least one CAD Design package such as CATIA, Solidworks, Inventor, or Fusion
• Strong organisational skills to manage spend profiles and timescales to support project goals in a dynamic environment
• Experience in delivering on company projects often to challenging timescales
• Effective communication skills, confident, and focused, with the ability to manage your time and duties in a professional and effective manner
• Apprentice trained or demonstration of some hands-on experience in engineering activities
• Microsoft Office user, in particular Word & Excel
• Working knowledge of industry standards such as Eurocodes
• Basic understanding of FEM and load paths and structures

Salary and Benefits:
