Security Officer

Securitas Security Services is expanding its security team in Cambridge, seeking a skilled Security Officer to cover various areas of the city.
As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in protecting clients' sites, properties, and assets while ensuring the safety of employees and visitors.
You will be responsible for:
- Conducting foot patrols both internally and externally to detect and deter suspicious or threatening activity.
- Providing support, guidance, and information to staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of premises.
- Displaying an outstanding level of customer service and remaining alert and vigilant at all times.
- Retaining control of any threatening behavior until the arrival of another external agency.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed, recording and reporting all faults and hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Protecting clients' sites, properties, and assets.
- Ensuring the safety of employees and visitors.
- Conducting foot patrols and detecting suspicious activity.
- Providing support and guidance to staff and visitors.
- Displaying excellent customer service skills.
Requirements:
- SIA Licence.
- Driving Licence.
- 5-year checkable employment history.
- Full flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Computer literate.
