Structural Engineer

We are seeking a skilled structural engineer to join our team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years design experience and be able to design in all main materials using Autocad. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

The workload is varied and includes bespoke one-off houses, large new build blocks of flats, extensions, conversions, industrial sheds, schools, LA work, surveys, inspections, and defect analysis. The practice is incredibly busy with work and needs more people to be able to cope with the projects ranging from a few hundred pounds in value up to £10m.

The Director is FIStructE and FICE qualified, and the offices are close to Rochford station. A car driver would be preferable for attending site visits. Priority will be given to local candidates. Ideally, you will be Chartered or nearing this status, but candidates with a minimum of 2 years design experience will be considered.

Collaborate with the team to ensure successful project delivery

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
