Guidant Global is seeking a highly skilled Transmission Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of Transmission substation projects. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on high-voltage substation design, operation, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of Transmission substation projects
Collaborate with a talented team of engineers and project managers to drive innovative solutions and optimize project outcomes
Ensure that engineering and safety risks are adequately controlled through the implementation of safety by design principles
Evaluate tenders and procure and manage specialist services from consultants
Support site and operational teams to ensure the quality of installations, with minimal risk to Network security
Requirements:
Degree qualified electrical engineer
Previous Transmission experience required
Minimum of 3+ Years substation project engineer experience up to 400kV
Proven experience in high-voltage substation design, operation, and maintenance
Proficiency in project management
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
