Job Title: Gas Engineer

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join their team in London.

Purpose of the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing maintenance and reactive repairs on gas equipment and associated plant on site. They will also be the appointed person for the Gas on the NEC group Contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete reactive repairs on gas appliances on site and associated plant.
  • Oversee the annual maintenance of Gas Networks across the group.
  • Conduct annual auditing of Gas maintenance of all site venues on contract.
  • Ensure all gas certification is up to date.
  • Assist on other jobs within skill set around site as needed.
  • Present a professional image of CBRE to clients and visitors, and deliver excellence in customer service at all times.
  • Maintain professional and technical skills through a commitment to personal development and lifelong learning.
Requirements
  1. Hold CCN1, CEN1, COCN1, CCCN1, CIGA1, CDGA, CIGA, and COMCAT certifications.
  2. Have 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Have experience working on large commercial boilers.
  4. Have experience working on direct-fired AHUs.
  5. Experience working on commercial catering gas is a bonus.
  6. Be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  7. Have an organized and disciplined approach to work, with attention to detail.
  8. Be computer literate, with proficiency in Word and Excel.
Accountabilities
  1. Accountable to the Contract Manager.
  2. The post holder does not have any directly reporting staff.
  3. This post carries no direct budgetary responsibility.
