Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Manager to support our Store Manager in the overall management and operation of our store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, preferably in the food retail industry, and a willingness to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a strong team to provide a great customer experience
  • Create an exceptional working environment that promotes employee engagement and well-being
  • Forge strong links with the local community and host local events to build brand awareness and loyalty
  • Manage the store on a day-to-day basis, ensuring consistent delivery of high store standards
  • Recruit, mentor, train, and develop colleagues to achieve business objectives
  • Propel the store and business forward, ensuring we meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and are fit for the future
  • Ensure a clean, swift, and efficient operation, complying with health and safety procedures and other processes
Requirements
  • Management experience is essential
  • Food retail experience is preferred

Beyond this, it is essential to have a willingness to deliver, be passionate about retail, and have a strong attention to detail.
