Maths and Science Teaching Assistant Vacancy

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Maths and Science Teaching Assistant at a secondary school in Orpington.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to support students in achieving great GCSE results. As a Maths and Science Teaching Assistant, you will work with year 10 and 11 students in the mainstream classroom to support their learning.

You will have the opportunity to take 1:1 sessions, as well as supporting the teacher with lesson planning and maintaining an engaged classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in Maths and Science lessons
  • Assist the teacher with lesson planning and preparation
  • Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
  • Work closely with the teaching staff to ensure students receive the best possible education
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Maths or Science degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Passion for helping students succeed
