About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Anaesthesia to join our forward-thinking team at the Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
- Undertake anaesthesia in the UK, with a focus on providing safe and effective care to our patients.
- Work collaboratively with our surgical team to deliver high-quality surgical care, ensuring seamless transitions between anaesthesia and surgery.
- Participate in the development and implementation of anaesthesia protocols and guidelines, ensuring compliance with best practice standards.
- Contribute to the education and training of junior anaesthetists, ensuring the development of a skilled and knowledgeable team.
Requirements
- MB ChB, MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), or eligible for registration within six months of interview.
- Five years' experience in undertaking anaesthesia in the UK.
Desirable Criteria
- Higher Medical Degree (MD or MSc).
- Six months' advanced general training.
- Record of regular attendance at National Specialty meetings.
