We are partnering with a local authority in Halton to assist with the appointment of an ESOL Tutor on a one-month contract, with the possibility of extension at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for consideration.

Compensation: Hourly Rate

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the Employment Learning and Skills Division in Halton, delivering learning programmes to adults from diverse backgrounds in various community settings, including schools, community venues, and libraries.
• Promote learning programmes to potential learners and partner organizations within the borough.
• Develop learning programmes, including creating session plans and schemes of work for delivered programmes.
• Maintain records in line with the Common Inspection Framework, including contact logs, learner feedback, and other relevant documentation.
• Monitor learner progress and achievements, including assignments and national tests/assessments, and provide learners with advice and information on next steps.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Specialized qualification or extensive experience in the subject area.
• Teaching Certificate (adults), such as a Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector or a PGCE Certificate in Education.
• Experience in delivering adult learning in various settings.

Requirements:

• Availability to work immediately or at short notice.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check.
