We are seeking an experienced English teacher to join our dedicated team at a secondary school known for its supportive environment and focus on student progress.
About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering students' critical thinking, analytical skills, and creativity.
- Personalise learning experiences using data-driven assessment, ensuring every student achieves their best and receives targeted support when needed.
- Prepare students for GCSE English exams through focused teaching, feedback, and support, aiming for strong academic outcomes.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to share resources, contribute to initiatives, and promote literacy across the curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English or a related subject.
- Strong knowledge of English literature and language, with a commitment to developing literacy skills.
