Our client, a renowned gallery of original and unique contemporary furniture design and products, is seeking a highly motivated Production Assistant with technical knowledge of furniture construction, materials, and production methods to provide support to their Production team.
This is a unique opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in production and quality control to join a dynamic and innovative company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out condition and quality control checks and creating quotations, purchase orders and invoices.
- Liaising with suppliers, workshops and artists.
- Assisting with the gallery's exhibition and fair planning/installations.
Requirements:
- Ability to use MS Office, Adobe CS, Rhino 3D and Keyshot.
- Knowledge of a variety of materials and production processes such as bronze, wood, steel, resin & decorative finishes.
- Strong planning, organisational & multitasking skills to manage your own deliverables to meet the team's goals.
- Experience in the production of luxury, bespoke and limited ranges of sculptural / artistic furniture, lighting, and accessories.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality.
